This release improves how we identify businesses, professionals, services, and locations as distinct but connected entities.

New Capabilities

• Canonical entity records — Conflicting versions of a business name, address, website, or professional identity are consolidated into one authoritative record.

• Relationship mapping — Businesses can now be connected to their locations, professionals, services, credentials, and parent organizations through structured entity relationships.

• Source-level provenance — Every verified field can be traced to its supporting source, review status, and most recent validation date.

Improvements

• Entity matching now accounts for abbreviations, alternate business names, suite formatting, and minor inconsistencies between sources.

• Duplicate records are flagged before publication to prevent fragmented or contradictory business identities.

We’re developing confidence scoring to show how strongly each published fact is supported across authoritative sources.
